A PandaDoc alternative for freelancers
PandaDoc is a document platform. It does e-signature, contract workflows, CRM integrations and approval chains, priced per seat for teams that need all of it. If that is the problem you have, it is a good product and this page will not talk you out of it.
ClosingMoment is built for the opposite situation: one person, one deal at a time, trying to find out whether the proposal they sent on Tuesday was ever read.
The difference is who it is priced for
PandaDoc charges per user per month, and its lower tiers are stepping stones to the ones with the integrations and workflows on them. That is a rational model for a product sold to sales teams — the seat count is the whole business.
It is also the thing that makes it awkward for one freelancer. You are buying a seat in a system designed for a team you do not have, and paying for a contract lifecycle you will never run.
We are not quoting PandaDoc’s prices on this page. Every price on our other comparison pages was read off the vendor’s own pricing page on a stated date. PandaDoc’s could not be, and the third-party sites listing it disagree with each other. Read their pricing page directly. For ours: 5 proposals free with every closing tool, then $19/month, or $12/month billed annually.
Side by side
Structural differences only — things that follow from who each product is built for, rather than a feature race that closes next quarter.

Where PandaDoc beats ClosingMoment
A comparison that wins every row is a sales sheet. These are real, and if any of them is your actual problem, buy PandaDoc.
E-signature
PandaDoc is, among other things, a signature product. We record a click-to-accept with a timestamp, which is sufficient for the contract sizes a solo freelancer works at — but it is not the same thing, and we will not pretend it is.
Integrations
Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive and the rest. We have none. If your proposals have to land in a CRM, that is a real requirement and we do not meet it.
Teams
Roles, approval chains, shared libraries, per-seat reporting. ClosingMoment assumes one person. If you are three people who need to review each other’s proposals, we are the wrong tool today.
Document scale
Contract lifecycle, redlining, a library of hundreds of templates. We ship a focused set of proposal templates and an AI builder, which is a different bet.
What PandaDoc will not build
This is the part that matters more than any row above, because feature gaps close and this one does not.
PandaDoc’s buyer is a sales team, and a sales team’s workflow runs through a CRM. Reading data belongs in a dashboard someone reviews on Monday, alongside pipeline reporting. That is the correct design for that buyer.
ClosingMoment is built for a different unit of work: the ten minutes while one specific client is reading one specific proposal. A push alert naming the section they are on, a reply already drafted from that behaviour, and one tap to send it on WhatsApp — the channel a freelancer’s client actually answers on.
A platform selling seats to teams has no reason to build that, because its buyer is not the person holding the phone. See what a behaviour-driven follow-up looks like or open a live tracked proposal and watch it work.
