Refund Policy

Last updated: August 2026

This document is maintained in English, which is its authoritative version.

1. Who Processes Your Payment

All ClosingMoment purchases are processed by Stripe Managed Payments, our Merchant of Record. Stripe is the seller of record for your subscription, and any refund is issued back to your original payment method. Checkout, receipts and order management run through Link, so your purchase appears as "Sold through Link" and your bank statement shows LINK.COM. Link's buyer terms also apply to the payment itself.

2. 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

If ClosingMoment isn't right for you, we'll refund your first purchase of a paid plan in full — no questions asked — provided you request it within 14 days of the initial charge. This applies to both monthly and annual plans.

3. Renewals

Subscription renewals are charged automatically at the start of each billing period. If a renewal was charged in error — for example, you meant to cancel but the charge went through — contact us within 14 days of the renewal charge and we'll refund it. Outside that window, refunds for renewals are handled case by case; partial billing periods are not refunded unless required by applicable law.

4. How to Request a Refund

Either of these works:

  • Email hello@closingmoment.com from your account email, ideally with the order number from your receipt.
  • Request a refund through Link support, using the receipt email you received after purchase.

Approved refunds are issued within a few business days and typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.

5. Cancelling Is Not the Same as a Refund

You can cancel your subscription at any time from Settings → Billing. Cancelling stops future charges and keeps your paid features until the end of the current billing period — it does not by itself trigger a refund. If you also want a refund for the most recent charge, request one as described above.

6. The Free Plan

The free plan never charges you, so there is nothing to refund. Downgrading from a paid plan back to free follows the cancellation rules above.

7. Your Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable refund or withdrawal right you have under the consumer-protection law of your country. Where local law grants you more than this policy does, local law wins.
